Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential Comprehensive Sanctions Center (CSC) services for male and female Federal offenders in the Sioux City, Iowa (Counties of: Woodbury, Plymouth, Cherokee, and Monona) area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, “Comprehensive Sanctions Center, amended through October 2003.” This is a firm-fixed unit price requirement type contract. The services are estimated to be 77% male and 23% female. The estimated number of inmate days is 12,427 (males) and 3,355 (females) for the two-year base period; 6,222 (males) and 1,830 (females) for option year one; 6,205 (males) and 1,825 (females) for option year two; and 6,205 (males) and 1,825 (females) for option year three, respectively. The solicitation will be available on or about July 6, 2004, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP200-0824-NC will be on or about September 7, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations have the right to submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
