Description

The purpose of the amendment is to post Contractors questions received for this solicitation and the Governments response. Question 1: Why would a Masters/MBA or PhD with 20+ years of DOD and formalized Data Analysis expertise without a CDFM, not also qualify? Answer: CDFM Certification for the instructor is required. One of the objectives of the training is to prepare the budget analysts for the CDFM exam. CDFM certification is assurance the instructor has maintained and enhanced their professional proficiency in Defense financial management. An instructor with CDFM certification will have the level of expertise to prepare the analysts for the CDFM exam. Question 2. Why does this a small-business set aside also require CEUs....not many small businesses are qualified to give CEUs. We are a MAJOR provider of customized training for DOD and civilian federal agencies, to include US Army, US Navy, US Air Force, Pentagon, DLA, DISA, US Army Leadership Academy, etc. We do provide Certificates of Completion, though. Will that qualify? Answer: The contractor will provide a Certification of Completion. The Government, not the Contractor, will determine the CEUs, Continuing Education Units.
