Description

This is a synopsis of a requirement for ship repair. This is request for quotation (RFQ) number HSCG80-05-Q-3FAF94. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, parts, services, and competence to perform the following for USCGC BLACKBERRY (WLI-65303) : 1. Clean and disinfect potable water tanks, 2. Clean sewage tank and renew tank level indicator, 3. Repair gunwale, 4. Renew cargo hatch, 5. Clean engine exhaust, 6. Install shaft seal piping and sea chest vent piping, 7. Renew spotlights, 8. Repair CO2 station, 9. Mechanical chain stopper maintenance, 10. Clean sewage piping system, 11.Renew anchor reel foundation, 12. Inspect various deck fittings, 13. Renew portlights, 14. Renew mess deck bulhead insulation, deck covering and benches, and 15. Renew survival locker deck and bulkhead. Performance period is June 27 to July 25, 2005. Place of performance is Caswell Beach, NC. The RFQ package and Specifications will be available electronically on or about April 19, 2005. The government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.
