Description

Contractor shall provide wheelchair transportation to beneficiaries of the WJBD VA Medical Center, Columbia, South Carolina. In accordance with all Terms, conditions, provisions, and schedules. Four (4) vehicles shall be required for services between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday including all Federal Holidays. Two (2) vehicles shall be required 24 hours per day on weekends and between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. Contract period shall be one (1) year from the date of award with two (2) one year options to extend. Services shall be provided 24 hours per day, seven (7) days per week as required. This contract includes a base year (one year from date of award), with two one-year renewal options that may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The total contract period shall not exceed three years. This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 15. RFQ 247-0193-05 is advertised as a 100% set-aside for small business concerns with a NAICS Code 485991 and a size standard of $6.0M. Only offers from those firms regularly established in the business of providing this type service will be considered. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Interested Offerors may obtain an electronic copy of the solicitation free at the URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
