- The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia announces its intent to issue a solicitation for Contractor Support Services in support of the Department of Navy Automated Identification Technology (AIT) Program Office located primarily in Mechanicsburg, PA. Services required include program management, engineering, and technical services. An Industry Day will be conducted on 14 APR 2005 at 1330 hours in Mechanicsburg, PA to assist the government in the definition of the requirement. If interested in attending, you must e-mail Leanne Hanger (leanne.hanger@navy.mil) with your company name and names of the participants. An RFP will be issued as soon as practicable after the Industry Day. The government is currently contemplating full and open competition of multiple award Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contracts for a base period of one year with four one-year option periods. It is the intent of the government to issue competitive task orders under these multiple award contracts. A draft version of the RFP (Reference Number: DraftAITProgramSupport with no spaces) should be made available no later than 4 APR 2005 on the following web site: www.neco.navy.mil. The official RFP (N00140-05-R-0047) will be available on the same web site as soon as it is issued but no earlier than 19 APR 2005.
