Description
The contractor shall be required to provide technical support services that relate to Logistics Automated Information System (LOGAIS) to include Integrated Computerized Deployment System, Marine Air Ground Task Force, Prepo Planning System and Marine Corps Prepositioning Information Center systems that support the logistics management of the Marine Corps' Prepositioning programs. These functions include: software development/maintenance, prototyping, requirements analysis, requirement documentation development, detail design specifications, cost benefit analysis, system installation, training, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrading, problem resolution, tracking, and reporting, Automated Information Technology, Logistics Applications of Automated Marking and Reading Symbols system setup, training, troubleshooting, support all LOGAIS planning and execution functions, contingency operation and exercise support to include deploying with any Technical Assistance and A! dvisory Team or Quality Assurance Team, data conversion, ad hoc report generation, support coordination, -.0tracking and reporting. The contractor shall build load plans in support of Maritime Prepositioning Ship Maintenance Cycles. The contractor shall conduct space assessments and prepare briefs and as part of an overall analysis of a squadron's load out in preparation of receipt of new equipment, concepts or capabilities, as related to the appropriate MMC. The contractor shall work with Marine Corps organizations in an effort to acquire information concerning force structure and equipment allocations/ acquisitions required to maintain the current Maritime Prepositioning Force Marine Expeditionary Brigade Table of Equipment published in the NAVMC 2907. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. Contract will be issued for one base year and four option years. The solicitation for this procurement will be posted on the NECO website (www.! neco.navy.mil) on or about 29 April 2005. The vendor is responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the web sites for any amendments, if issued. No telephone calls will be accepted.
