Description
This is an amendment to the original posting for this requirement. This amendment serves to correct errors in the original requirement, as well as to provide answers to questions submitted regarding the requirement. The following both corrects errors and answers questions: Questions & Answers: 1. Q - Would the Government consider expanding the commuting distance criteria beyond the (25) mile radius in order to include Harrisburg, PA A ? There is a need for participants to have access to resources such as the computer labs, the publications center, & the Learning Resource Center/Library located at the National Emergency Training Center (NETC), as well as the need for numerous NETC staff members to travel to and from the facility as required. Therefore, the facility must be within a reasonable commuting distance from the NETC. Based upon these necessary minimum logistical issues, the area of consideration cannot be expanded beyond the (25) mile surrounding area. 2. Q - Will any catering be needed? A - No 3. Q - If there is a parking charge, is the Government or the participant responsible for the charge? A ? No. The individual participant will be responsible for the charge. 4. Q - Will the Government require a registration table or help from a project manager at each location for registration, or will the Government provide this person? A - The Government will provide the registration table and personnel required to manage the table. 5. Q - Will the Government be mailing/sending any workbooks, documentation, etc. for the training to the motel/hotel? If yes, how many boxes and what are the dimensions? A - No the Government will not be mailing any materials to the motel/hotel. 6. Q - If you want the offeror to provide any AV, what size of screen will be needed? A - As stated in the posting, the Government will provide all AV equipment as needed. 7. Q - What is the agenda for this training? A - Currently the only agenda is: Four (4) Train-the-Trainer programs. Any other specific agenda outside of the below training modules has not been confirmed at this point. NIMS ICS for the Fire Service NIMS ICS for EMS Introduction to Unified Command NIMS, An Introduction (facilitated version) 8. Q - The number of nights requiring lodging appears to be incorrect. How many nights lodging are required for each of the (3) training sessions? A - There was an error in the number of lodging nights. The May & June classes require a total of (7) nights lodging as opposed to the (6) as originally posted, and the July class requires a total of (6) nights lodging as opposed to the (5) posted.
