Description

This is a notice of the Governments intent to award sole source (Note 22) Genzyme Genetics for specimen testing. Testing services include Bone Marrow Chromosome Analysis, approximately 350 tests; Lymph Node Chromosome Analysis, approximately 2 tes ts; Chromosome Analysis Solid Tumor, approximately 17 tests; Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization, approximately 60 tests; T/B Cell Gene Rearrangements, approximately 2 tests; BCR/ABL Qualitative PCR, approximate 5 tests. This notice is for Walter Reed Army Medical Center, 6900 Georgia Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20307, contract number W91YTZ-05-D-0006. Contract period is 1 April 2005 through 31 March 2006. Parties interested in future announcements shall provide detailed information of their capabilities and certifications (FDA, CAP, and CLIA) to clearly meet the requirements stated above. Facilities must be able to provide all tests. Test turnaround times are critical. Some tests have a 24-hour turn around time. Facility must have timely pick up of specimens from Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Facility must have the capability to provided direct contact of reference lab director for interpretive results; and facility must provide secure, on-line test result access wit the ability to cut and paste results in to Composite Healthcare System (CHCS) records.
