Description

The United States Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Precision Approach and Landing System (JPALS) Program is envisioned to meet the DoD's need for an all-weather, anti-jam, combat-ready, Category II/III aircraft landing system. JPALS must be fully interoperable among all the branches of the service with a large number of different platforms while meeting a wide range of landing scenarios. It must also be compatible with planned civil system updates incorporating the same GPS-based technology. The Government intends to establish this Sole Source Cooperative Agreement with Stanford University. Companies interested in responding to this request for information should mail the following: a company pamphlet, brochure, or short statement of the company's abilities/history with this type of service, the name and telephone number of a company representative that can be contacted, and the company's address. Once responses are received, interested parties may be requested to provide a presentation to further describe their capabilities.
