- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, RI requires thirteen Alesis HD24XR Hard Disk Recorders with 96 KHz board, Part #HD24XR and twelve Alesis HD24XR Hard Drive Carrier Bays, Part No. HD24 Caddy. FOB Destination to NUWCDIVNPT, Newport RI. These are the sole acceptable makes/models. Award will be based on lowest price that meets Government delivery schedule, which is by 26 April 2005. We are using commercial procedures per FAR Part 12, with the solicitation being issued in less than 15 days per FAR 5.203(a) and (h). The Request for Quote is expected to be issued on 01 APR 2005. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room.
