Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is H92241-05-T-0006, and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The due date is 20 April 2005 no later than 2:00PMest. Proposals may be submitted via e-mail (spowell@tapo.eustis.army.mil) or by fax to (757) 878-4199. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-27. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 336413 and small business standard of 1000 employees. The U.S. Special Operations Command, 160th Special Operations Regiment,Technology Applications Contracting Office (TAKO), has a requirment for procuring various Mission Enhanced Little Bird (MELB) kits. The list of each part number and and quantity required for each kit is available at the FedBizOps website associated with this notice. No substitutions of parts will be allowed for these kits. The kits shall be delivered as kits, not by each part number. The Government anticipates awarding a contract purchasing 1 kit immediately, with 5 options to purchase 1 kit under each option for a total of six (6) kits to be procured. The basis of award will be to the lowest priced offeror. The Government intends to award only one contract as a result of this notice. The delivery point will be determined prior to an award, as well as a delivery schedule. FOB and Acceptance/Inspection is at origin by a Government quality assurance representative (QAR).
