- This is modification of a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicita tion; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is for an ID-IQ type contract for repair of Reduction Gearbox Carrier Army P/N 12302485. Proposed contract is for one base year with 2 one-year options. Est imated maximum quantity of 80 EA 1st contract year; 100 EA 2nd option year; 120 EA 3rd option year with a minimum quantity of 20 ea per year. End item applicable is the AGT 1500 Gas Turbine Engine. Delivery requirement is F.O. B. Destination to Advance Tur bine Engine Army Maintenance (ATEAM), Bldg. 741, Fort Riley, KS. The following factors will be utilized in the technical evaluation of proposals (a) Contractor must have a prior performance history of the repair of reduction gearbox carrier or be subject t o a First article acceptance test for any or all items listed. (b) Contractor shall have quality control processes reviewed and certified by an external agency, such as certification to ISO (International Organization for Standardization), NADCAP (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) or equivalent quality assurance review processes. In the absence of an external certification, proof of registration as a FAA repair station is acceptable. (c) Contract award is contingent on first article inspection of five pieces. Contractor must submit with proposal evidence of prior performance in the repair of reduction gearbox carrier or repair of similar components. Contractor must submit evidence of ISO certification, NADCAP certification or equivalent quality assurance processes. Award will be based on past performance in repair of Reduction Gearbox Carrier, like items, lead time. Contract award will be based on best value considering prior performance on repairs of this component or like com ponents, delivery time from date of receipt of repairable parts and price. Technical certifications will be evaluated on a go no go basis and past performance will be evaluated as satisfactory or unacceptable and when past performance and technical certif ication factors are combined they are approximately equal to price. In order to receive an award for this contract, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration. You may register at WWW.CCR.GOV. A technically acceptable proposal is one th at meets or exceeds all of the above technical criteria. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.
