Description

In accordance with OMB Circular A-76 (Revised May 29, 2003) The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is publicly announcing the start of a Streamline Competition for Data Maintenance, Administrative Activities and Computing Services. The Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) is Dr. Ed Sontag, Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, Department of Health and Human Services. The Contracting Officers (CO) are Patricia Pemberton and Lisa Schneider. The projected end date of the Competition is June 28, 2005. The functions at NIH include but are not limited to Data Entry, Data Reconciliation, Data Integrity and Assurance, Other Data Administration Activities such as assisting users in understanding data in order for users to perform inquiries for data retrieval and referring users to appropriate sources to obtain information. These services are currently provided by eighteen Federal Government employees. NIH will issue another notice to announce the decision of the cost comparison on or about July 5, 2005. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME
