- HQ ACC CONS, Langley AFB, VA intends to negotiate a commercial purchase order for Airborne Laser and Joint Unmanned Combat Air System (JUCAS) Requirements Analysis & Exercise Support services for HQ ACC/DR-DAP. GENERAL TASK DESCRIPTION The requirements of this effort are to provide requirements analysis, exercise planning and support, documentation support, and expert advice to Headquarters Air Combat Command?s (ACC) Directorate of Requirements, Defense Acquisition Programs Division (HQ ACC/DR-DAP) for the Airborne Laser (ABL) Program and Joint Unmanned Combat Air System (JUCAS) Program. HQ ACC/DR-DAP is the responsible organization for establishing ABL operational requirements for the Combat Air Forces (CAF) and the Joint Force Air Component Commander (JFACC) in support of the Combatant Commanders. The Contractor shall support HQ ACC/DR-DAP by providing technical, management, and operational expertise in researching, analyzing, developing, exercising and documenting ABL and JUCAS operational requirements. This work will be designed to support development of ABL and JUCAS concepts and weapon system requirements for production and deployment. The basic contract effort is for a Government estimate of four (1) definite and (3) Option Clin Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) on-site representatives at the HQ ACC/DR-DAP office located on Langley AFB, VA in support of the ABL and JUCAS tasks specified in the SOW. All (4) FTEs are firm requirements for the entire length of the option years if these option years are exercised. The scope of work may expand during this contract and additional FTEs may be required, and a bi-lateral modification to the contract will be issued. Where a specific number of FTEs is mentioned in the SOW, it is intended as an estimate. This is an estimate of the number of FTEs the Government believes are required to support the requirements of the SOW. Period of Performance. The Base Period of Performance shall be 1 May 05 or date of contract award to 28 February 2006, with four (4) successive option periods as follows: -Option Period I: 1 March 2006 through 28 February 2007 -Option Period II: 1 March 2007 through 29 February 2008 -Option Period III: 1 March 2008 through 28 February 2009 -Option Period IV: 1 March 2009 through 28 February 2010 Interested persons may identify their interest and request a complete solicitation document via from: Ms Amber Weichbrodt:Amber.Weichbrodt@langley.af.mil,(757)225-2751 or Ms Joy deLande:Joy.deLande@langley.af.mil,(757)225-2834 Proposals will not be accepted after 12:00pm 14 April 2005
