- This announcement extends the due date for White Papers from 5 April 2005, 3:00 p.m. EST to 22 April 2005, 3:00 p.m. EDST. This announcement also extends the subsequent proposal due date from 17 May 2005 3:00 p.m. EST to 1 June 2005, 3:00 p.m. EDST (Reference page 2 of the BAA.) As a result of the change to the proposal due date, this announcement also changes the oral presentations date. On page 5 of the BAA, the sentence ?Presentations will be held the week of 23 May 2005 at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio? is changed to ?Presentations will be held the week of 6 June 2005 at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. This announcement replaces the Statement of Work for Task Order 0005 dated 10 February 2005 with a corrected Statement of Work for Task Order 0005 dated 24 March 2005. The corrected Statement of Work reflects correct paragraph numbering for SOW paragraphs 3.3 through 3.8. This announcement also clarifies the delivery address for the White Papers. Page 20 of the BAA requires that an original plus 8 copies of the White Paper be submitted. The original and 4 copies of the White Papers should be mailed to: Rhonda Knowles, AFRL/PKH, Bldg 167, 2310 Eighth Street, Wright-Patterson AFB OH 45433-7801. The remaining four copies of the White Papers should be mailed to: Jay Carroll, AFRL/HEAO, 6030 Kent Street, Mesa AZ 85242. White Papers not received at the designated Government office (AFRL/PKH address at Wright-Patterson AFB) by 22 April 2005, 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time, will be considered late. This announcement also provides additional information on the objective of Task Order 0001. On the bottom of page 4/top of page 5 of the BAA, after the sentence: ?The objective of Task Order 0001 is to provide overall management and technical support to AFRL/HEA?s basic, exploratory, and advanced development warfighter readiness research contract;? the following is added: ?The intention of the Air Force is that Task Order 0001 will cover Task Orders 0002-0005 AND all future task orders to be issued under the contract. In addition to Task Orders 0002-0005, we anticipate 11 additional task orders to be awarded by 1 Dec 05. Additional task orders will be issued periodically after that. The current contract has 39 Task Orders.? This announcement also corrects the erroneous references to ?items 1-5 below? on pages 7 and 8 of the BAA. On page 7, Section A.1.c(3), Task Order 0003 Interactive Synthetic Warfighter Models, the reference to ?items 1-5 below? is corrected to read ?items (a) through (e) below.? On page 8, Section A.1.c(4), Task Order 0004 Deployable Visual Systems Technology Development, the reference to ?items 1-5 below? is corrected to read ?items (a) through (h) below.? All other information in the BAA announcement posted on 11 March 2005 remains unchanged.
