Description: The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract to General Electric Aircraft Engines (GEAE), located at 1000 Western Avenue, Lynn, MA 01910-0445, for procurement of advance acquisition material required for production lot XI/FY07, F414-GE-400 engines and devices. The Government intends to negotiate solely with GEAE as they are the original designer and developer of the F414-GE-400, and only known source possessing the requisite technical knowledge, and specialized expertise, capability, tooling and technical data necessary to fulfill these requirements within the required timeframe.
