- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) and the solicitation number is M6700105Q0045. Documentation number M9911605SS00024. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 113210 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. Item #0001: Service to grow 200,000, containerized longleaf pine seedling, using seeds provided by the Forestry Division of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The Contractor will pickup seedling and deliver by refrigerated truck, back to the Forestry Division. Seedling will be planted late April 2005 to Mid May 2005, and ready to deliver back to Camp Lejeune, NC in November, 2005.All seedling will be grown from seeds provided the Forestry Division. The Contractor will provide the labor, containers, supplies, equipment, fertilizer and all other materials necessary to meet the contract specifications. The Contractor will sow the seed, assure proper culture practices are completed, extract, pack and store the seedling. Quotes other than FOB Destination will be rejected. OFFEROR SHALL PROVIDE COMPLETED COPIES OF FAR 52.212-3 AND DFARS 252.225-7000 WITH THEIR QUOTE. The Offeror is required to provide their Contractors DUNS Number and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code with their quote. The CAGE code entered must be for that name and address provided by the Contractor.
