Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to make a single award to a responsible quoter for a non-personal service contract for Computer Literacy Instructor to provide keyboarding and micro computer application to the inmate population at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Pollock, Louisiana. The requirement for Computer Literacy Instructor shall consist of one position working an estimated 15 hours per week. The incumbent will instruct two (2) one and one half hour classes, five days a week, Monday thru Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., for a minimum of 100 hours for Keyboarding and 165 hours for Micro Computer Application. Both programs will run approximately six months in length and will be conducted a minimum of twice a year. The total number of sessions for a 12-month contract period is estimated at 134 Keyboarding sessions and 220 Micro Computer Application sessions. The contractor shall be a member of an accredited agency who possess the qualification to instruct the classes of the accredited agency. The solicitation will be available upon written facsimile request, with a deadline for receipt of quotation August 31, 2004. All offers must be received by the Contracting Officer specified above No Later Than 11:00 AM, CST, on September 13, 2004. Offers received after this date will not be considered. It is anticipated that an award from this solicitation will be made by October 1, 2004. Offers should be faxed to Delbert C. Grigsby, Supv. Contract Specialist, at (318) 561-5325.
