Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 11, requests that SMALL BUSINESS MANUFACTURERS ONLY provide information revealing small business capacity to manufacture and supply Eyeglass Frames. Styles of frames should include square, aviator and round. Characteristics should include saddle nose option, enclosed hinges option, plastic option, and wire-framed option. If you are a small business manufacturer of eyeglass frams and offer the above styles with the above characteristic options please respond to Scott Paramoure or John Callahan by 12:30 PM EST 04/18/05. Response to this announcement may help determine if sufficient competition among small business manufacturers of eyeglass frames exists to warrant any type of small business set-aside in accordance with FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. Please provide requested information no later than 12:30 pm EST April 18, 2005. Fax or e-mail transmission is recommended. Response must include firm name and point-of-contact information, socio-economic status, and a positive statement that the firm is a small business concern that manufactures eyeglass frames. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, AND NO SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED WITH THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.
