The Government is contemplating a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside acquisition. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) is defined as: (1) a small business concern (i) not less than 51 percent of which is owned by one or more service-disabled veterans or, in the case of any publicly owned business, not less than 51 percent of the stock of which is owned by one or more service-disabled veterans: and (ii) the management and daily business operations of which are controlled by one or more service-disabled veterans or, in the case of a veteran with permanent and severe disability, the spouse or permanent caregiver of such a veteran (2) Service-disabled veterans means a veteran, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(2) with a disability that is service-connected, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101 (16). Description of Project: The project contemplated for this acquisition is entitled ?Seismic Upgrade of B126OP?; this building is a Hospital Out Patient facility. The NAICS code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The size standard is $28.5 million. The project magnitude is anticipated to be between $1 million and $2 million. Work will involve structural seismic upgrades to an existing building (B126OP) to include: installation of new shotcrete walls onto existing interior and exterior shear walls; epoxy crack filling; and minor architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC demolition and restoration. Interior work falls within an occupied clinic space, and will therefore require night work for that portion of the project. The space will remain operational during normal business hours. Reporting Requirements: This notice is to help the Government determine potential qualified sources only; this is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. All interested SDVOSB?s shall respond by providing: company name and address; point of contact name, phone number, and email address; certified business size and classification status. Additionally, responders are requested to provide past performance data demonstrating qualification to perform and experience on similar projects.
