Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Portland, Oregon is soliciting offers to provide Hired Car (Taxi) Services to the Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center (PVAMC), to include Vancouver, Washington, and the Portland International Airport. Contractor shall provide hired car (taxi) services to meet the needs of the hospital as specified in RFP 648-37-05, and in accordance with all applicable federal, and state laws. It is estimated that a contract award will be made on or around April 25, 2005, with services to begin on or around May 1, 2005. Contract offers will include a base period with (4) one-year option periods, if in the best interest of the Government. Offers are due no later than 3:00pm local time April 18, 2005. No telephone requests for solicitations will be accepted. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. This is a negotiated procurement and there will be no public bid opening. North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 485310, and the small business size standard is $6.0 million. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. The solicitation is available as a web based document and should be downloaded by interested offerors.
