Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs is looking for firms that are Small Business under the following programs: SDVOSB, HUBZone, 8(a), SDB, WOSB, VOSB and/or Small Business. The firm must be a General Construction company with an approved NAICS Code 236220 and available bonding capacity of approximately $10 Million. The firm must have hospital experience with contracts as a prime in the $5-10 Million range and Design-Build experience. The project scope is construction of a new 44,000 SF Mental Health Clinic and renovation of 6000 SF of existing space. Procurement Method: Contracting by Negotiations-FAR Part 15, Source Selection (Best Value) where the importance of cost and technical selection factors vary. The Technical selection criteria will include: Past Performance, Corporate Experience, Project Personnel experience, technical management approach, etc. The award will be made to the offeror whose proposal is most advantageous to the government. Proposed schedule: Issue Solicitation 6/1/05. Submit proposals 7/15/05. Award contract 8/20/05.
