Description

This project will replace the existing chiller, heat exchanger, pumps, and ancillary equipment for the two-pipe HVAC system on the first and second floors of the building with new equipment properly sized for heating and air conditioning the entire b uilding. Window air conditioners and steam convectors on the third floor will be replaced with new fan coil units. Power will be provided to the fan coil units and other mechanical equipment. Suspended ceiling will be replaced on the 2nd floor. The ele ctrical service 5KV aerial conductors serving the building wil be replaced and increased in size. A Direct Digital Control (DDC) building automation system will be provided to integrate with the other building automation systems on Rock Island Arsenal. Miscellaneous demolition will be reuqired for this work. Asbestos abatement is included in the project.
