Description
N40083-05-Q-4412, REPLACE BULLET RESISTANT GLASS AT GATE HOUSE & GUARD BOOTH AT THE NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY, CRANE, INDIANA. This RFP will be released via the Internet. All prospective offerors and plan rooms must be registered on the website. This RFQ will be available for viewing and downloading at http:www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. The official planholders list will be maintained and can be printed from the website only. Amendments will b posted on the website for downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments, therefore, IT IS THE OFFEROR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS RFP. All contractual and technical questions must be submitted to Debra Dills, email to: debbie.dills@navy.mil. The proposal will be evaluated on the Offeror's technical submission and price proposal. Technical and price factors will be equal in significance. Offerors are required to submit separate technical and price proposals for the project. As a result of this Request for Proposal, the offeror determined to be the best in ability and value to the Government will be awarded this contract. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, materials, certifications, testing, transportation and supervision and incidental related work to remove old glass and install new bullet resistant glass at Gates 1,2, and 4 and the guard shack at gate 4 as stated in the Statement of Work complete and ready to use at the Naval Support Activity, (NSA) Crane, Indiana. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract has been awarded. Arrangements to visit the site of work for the purpose of preparing a proposal can be made by contracting Mr. Tim Sears at (812) 854-3268. Site visit is scheduled for April 6, 2005 9:00 AM local time. The accomplishment of this work effort will be via Firm-Fixed Price contract utilizing the Small Purchase Procedures. This proposed solicitation will be issued as Emerging Small Business Set-Aside Procurement. Estimated cost range under $25,000.00. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 238350 Finish Carpentry Contractor. The Small Business Size Standard is $12.0 Million. Proposals are due Wednesday, April 13, 2005 4:00 PM local time at the NAVFAC MW/DET CRANE Office, Crane, Indiana
