Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This solicitation is not restricted. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The California National Guard has a requirement for Freedom II Jumpstarters (North Star model 1 2/24 4-B) OR EQUIVALENT, Freedom I Jumpstarters (North Star model 12/24/36 3-B)OR EQUIVALENT, X4 Battery group 31 and cable quick-disconnects with twelve foot claw / NATO application. Vendors must provide equipment that is of equal or better specificatio ns to the model numbers listed above. Specifications for the Freedom I and Freedom II Jumpstarters are as follows: equipment to include cranking amps (12 volts) to 3000 CCA, cranking amps (24 volts) to 1200 CCA, cranking amps (36 volts) to 2100 CCA, large pneumatic tires, three step terminal seal to ensure leak free operation, smart start and remote coil cord. Jumpstarters must have a direct current voltage acceptance system 12V DC / 24V DC output and/or 12 / 24 / 36V DC, and must be reverse polarity prot ected Jumpstarters with coil-cord systems. Equipment must include a 1 to 3 year warranty. Equipment will be shipped to 38 different locations throughout California, within 30 days of order acceptance. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR). Quotes are due no later than April 8, 2005 before 2:00pmPST.
