Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The 106th Rescue Wing of the New York Air National Guard at F.S. Gabreski Airport in Westhampton Beach New York is in need of a steel/lead/steel radiographic enclosure for the NDI section of the Aircraft Maintenance Group. Minimum specifications include: A STEEL/LEAD/STEEL RADIOGRAPHIC ENCLOSURE: APPROXIMATELY 10'W X 7'D X 9'H DEMINSIONS, MODULAR BOLT LEAD PANELS OVER UNI-STRUT FRAME, ALL WALLS, CEILING, DOOR AND FLOOR SHIELDED FOR PRIMA RY, AIR OPERATED SLIDING DOOR 4' X 7' WITH DUAL DOOR SWITCH, INTERIOR LIGHTS AND OUTLETS, AN X-RAY ON LIGHT, SAFETY SWITCH AND LOAD CENTER, INDUSTRIAL POLANE PAINT FINISH. DELIVERED AND INSTALLED IN HANGAR A. INCLUDED WILL BE AN ALARM FOR RADIATION ENCLOS URE: 120VAC, 8 ' LONG POWER CABLE WITH PLUG AND 20' LONG WIRE INTERCONNECT CALBE FOR INTERLOCK AND X-RAY ON LIGHT. TO INCLUDE INSTALLATION OF ALARM SYSTEM AND TEST. Descriptive literature and specifications are required with your offer. Delivery is FOB d estination and is to be delivered to the 106th RQW, Westhampton Beach, New York, within 60 days after award. This solicitation number W912PQ-05-T-0014 is being issued as a request for quote and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect throug h Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-02, effective 23 March 2005. This procurement is a small business set aside. The NAICS for this requirement is 334517 and the size standard is 500 employees. Award shall be based on the lowest price and technically accep table proposal. Proposals will require a minimum acceptance period of 90 calendar days. A bid allowing less than the Governments minimum acceptance period will be rejected.
