- The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for open, inspect, and report of CG 378' WHEC Controllable Pitch Propeller (CPP) Hub Assemblies, in accordance with ELC 378' WHEC Controllable Pitch Propeller Hub Standard Inspection Specification on the following: NSN 2010-01-268-5697, RH Hub, Serial No. 176, Qty. 1 Each; NSN 2010-01-268-5698, LH Hub, Serial No. 177. The hub assemblies are to be used on the 378 WHEC Coast Guard Cutters. Delivery of the reports shall be required 100 calendar days after receipt of Government Furnished Property. The Hub assemblies shall be delivered FOB Destination to the USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Bldg. 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. Delivery of the hub assemblies shall be thirty calendar days after final approval of inspection report. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) is 811310 and the dollar amount is $5.0 million. It is the Government's belief than only Propulsion Systems, Inc. can provide required inspection services. Technical drawings, specifications, fits, clearance pertaining to CPP Hubs are proprietary to Propulsion Systems, Inc. However, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within 5 days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered parts: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered item (i.e. salient physical, functional, and serviceability characteristics, or 2) Data that the offered hub has been satisfactorily inspected for the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer. Solicitation No. HSCG40-05-Q-60302 shall be available on or about 4 April 2005. Interested contractors should download the RFQ package from fedbizops@www.eps.gov . The closing date for receipt of responses shall be no later than 19 April 2005, 1 pm EST. This acquisition is not set-a-side for small business. See numbered note 22. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
