Description
Postal Square Building Turnstile Requirements The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is considering further action which may result in a contract for the purchase and installation of optical operated turnstiles for the Postal Square Building. This notice is a request for information from interested vendors who are able to satisfy the requirements detailed in the description below. The turnstiles needed are for two separate lobby areas. They must fit the existing drill holes in the floor in addition to matching the d?cor of the Postal Square Building. The new product / system must be compatible with the existing fire alarm system allowing unlimited accessibility when the alarm system is activated by way of the Johnson Control Inc. P2000 access control system. In addition compatibility is required with the Cotag card reader mounted on the turnstile and supplied by the Johnson Control Inc. P2000 system. A visual indicator must be located on the face ends or the surface top of the turnstile to indicate whether or not access has been gained or denied. The indicator must be able to operate from both ends of the turnstile. The turnstile must have remote capability for changing the turnstile mode accessibility from the security desk. A warranty for a minimum of one year will be required. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information.
