Description

GENERAL CONSTRUCTION ? Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required for the construction of a new Information Management Suite in the 8th floor west wing of building #1 at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. The project consists of but not limited to demolition, abatement and upgrading of existing HVAC system, electrical, etc. The work shall be done in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings provided. The completion time for this project is 180 calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued. The tentative issue date for procurement packages is 4/15/05; the project cost is estimated between $1,000,000. - $2,000,000. The cost for specifications and drawings is $100.00 non-refundable. All checks are to be made out to ?The VA Medical Center Agent Cashier?. The NACIS (North American Industry Classification System) code for this procurement is 233320. The bid packages will be issued on a first come basis. This procurement is unrestricted.
