Wolfe Ave., Edwards AFB, CA 93524 SUBJECT: Video Compressor Encoder REF NO.: F1S0AF507B002 DUE: 11 APR 2005 POC: Judy K. Pace, 661-275-7850 (fax) DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Enerdyne Technologies Inc., 1935 Cordell Court, El Cajon CA92020-0911. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 334220. The following item will be procured: This acquisition is to acquire (2) Video Compressor Encoders. These encoders have the exact form, fit, and function as the units being utilized on other F-16 aircraft. It is paramount that these encoders must be completely compatible with the existing Enerdyne units already in use on various F-16 flight test aircraft. Enerdyne owns the proprietary data on these units, they are the only known source that can satisfy the Government?s requirement of upgrade, on-site preparation, training, and technical support. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date is April 12, 2005. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, April 11, 2005. Responses should be submitted to: Directorate of Contracting, AFFTC/PKT (Attn: Judy Pace), 5 South Wolfe Avenue, Building 2800, Edwards AFB, CA 93524-1185, Fax: (661) 275-7850). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 8 days of the publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Facsimile responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. Telephone requests to be placed on a mailing list will not be honored.
