- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City intends to purchase a 3D Laser Radar Camera from Advanced Scientific Concepts(ASC), 305 E. Haley, Santa Barbara, CA 93101-1723 on a Sole Source basis. This 3D camera will be based upon an ASC proprietary read-out integrated circuit (ROIC) which will provide 128 X 128 pixel square imagery spatially, along with approximately 40 range (temporal) bins, resulting in approximately 128 X 128 X 40 pixel 3D images. The temporal resolution will be approximately 1 nsec per range bin. The camera will operate in the visible spectrum and will be delivered with computer interfacing electronics and software. This purchase will be made on a Sole Source basis because it is required that it be maximally compatible with an ASC 3D camera being developed under another existing Government contract. Delivery would be to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City Beach, FL 32407-7018. NAIC! S Code 334413 applies. SBA size standard is 500. FSC is 5961. Note 22 applies.
