Description

The project consists of reconditioning the existing entrance road, construction of new road alignments, parking areas, spurs and host site with 6? of new gravel surfacing for the new construction, installation fo 3 double vault and one single vault CXT toilets furnished by the government, concrete sidewalk, installation of one holding tank and sewer system, construction of a new amphitheater with accessable walkway, installation of a new water storage tank and water system, installation of a new electrical distribution system and accessories, construction of picnic pads and tents pads for each new spur, installation of new campsite amenities and disposal or salvaging of old items, obliteration of two old toilets. Project site is on the Kaibab National Forest. Driving time from Flagstaff, AZ is approximately 4.5 hours. From Flagstaff, AZ, head North on US-89 to US-89 ALT. Take US-89 ALT to Jacob Lake, AZ and turn south on State Highway 67. Take State Highway 67 for approximately 25 miles to the stie. Driving time form Fredonia, AZ is approximately 1.5 hours. Take US-89 ALT. southeast to Jacob Lake, AZ and turn south on State Highway 67. Take State Highway 67 for approximately 25 miles to the site. Government Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation will be available on or about April 20, 2005 with bid opening on or about May 20, 2005.
