- THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED FOR REVIEW AND PRINTING ON THE FEDBIZOPPS WEBSITE IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS. The intent of this project is to provide guidelines and specifications for completing the required Heritage Resource inventory, documentation and evaluation for historic properties at the project area. Outline what is necessary to adequately evaluate the historic Chemung Mine for bats, other Forest Service Sensitive and Federally threatened, endangered, or proposed plant and animal species. This project provides for assessments of abandoned mine adits, shafts and stopes that may constitute bat habitat or potential bat habitat. In addition, this project provides for the necessary species surveys or habitat assessments to complete a Biological Evaluation of the potential effects of the proposed securing action upon federally threatened, endangered, or proposed and Forest Service Sensitive plant and animals species. Project location is approximately 3.5 miles northeast of Bridgeport Reservoir on Forest Road 046. NAICS code: 541690. Size Standard: $6.0 Million.
