Description

Design services to furnish complete construction documents (Plans & Specifications) and construction period services for Project 573-05-302, "Full Power Back UP?, at the VA Medical Center, Gainesville, Florida. This project will provide complete emergency power for this medical center. The project consists of installation of three 2.5 megawatt generators with 12.8 kV output, and associated items. Selection will be based upon recent specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required, professional capacity to accomplish work, professional qualifications of staff and consultants assigned to project, past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry, in terms of cost control, quality of work, compliance with performance schedules, and other appropriate evaluation criteria. Construction budget is estimated between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Consideration is limited to concerns located within a 150-mile radius of Gainesville, FL. Firms desiring consideration should submit a completed SF 330 by close of business 05/10/2005. North American Industrial Classification: 541330. Award is subject to availability of funds.
