- Description
- The Special Projects Group, Air to Ground Munitions Systems Wing, (AFMC), has extended Technology Days from 18 and 19 Apr 05 to 18-20 Apr 05 at Bldg 614 (110 Wacissa Rd), conference room 200, Eglin AFB, FL. The purpose of this unclassified event is to better understand the maturity and availability of technologies relevant to guiding small munitions to mobile (stationary and moving) targets in all weather conditions. Important technology attributes are size, cost, availability (within 2 years), and capability to achieve sufficiently small Circular Error Probable (CEP) to allow small munitions to be effective. Weapon system integrators, seeker/sensor and data link firms having applicable interest, capability, and background are invited to attend. Pre-registration for all attendees is required NLT 14 Apr by visiting website https://sdb2.eglin.af.mil/techday. Registration for 18 and 19 is closed. Four, 2 hour appointment times have been added for private Government/Industry one-on-ones available for sign-up. Industry team lead will sign up for 1 group session only. Confirmation of scheduled meeting time and meeting location for one-on-one sessions will be provided by e-mail to the participants designated point of contact. The agenda for each private one-on-one-Government/Industry session includes: introductions, brief technical overview by the Government followed by industry presentation. Industry briefings should consist of a brief description of your capability and interests. Additional information is available on the website. Limit number of attendees to 5. A follow-on Industry Day will be scheduled in May/Jun 05.
