Description
Sources Sought, This office intends to negotiate a sole source, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside under Solicitation No. W9128F-05-R-0013, with John Bowman Inc., Colorado Springs, Colorado for a SMALL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT INDEFI NITE DELIVERY TYPE (SCPIDT) Contract to be used exclusively at CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN AFS, COLORADO, unless other qualified Contractors can meet the requirements summarized below. The work will include the following award of one Small Construction Project Indef inite Delivery Type (SCPIDT) contract with minor design capabilities for miscellaneous military projects located at Cheyenne Mountain AFS, Colorado. The primary NAICS code is 238 series. The contract will have a base period of 2 years and one option period of 1 year. The contract will require the Contractor to furnish all plant, labor, materials, and equipment to perform a wide variety of construction features to include but not be limited to: highway work, heavy construction work, building construction, mi nor hazardous toxic waste remediation work, mechanical work, electrical work and have a A-E for completion of designs for the scope of work. The scope of work and authority to perform the work will be accomplished using task orders executed by the Contract ing Officer. The maximum capacity of the contract is $3,000,000 with no per year limit on amount spent. Actual requirements will be awarded by the issuance of Task Order(s). To be considered a viable Contractor, Contractor will be required to submit and cl early demonstrate: (1) Previous full-service construction experience in the Cheyenne Mountain Complex, within the last 5 years; (2) Evidence that all contractor employees, A-E designers for minor design and all subcontractors required to execute the constr uction currently have on file the required Secret or Higher security clearances; (3) Familiarity with existing facility construction techniques, infrastructure for communications, power, water, HVAC, materials and mission systems; and (4) Succinct knowle dge of the logistics and security requirements of executing construction in this unique high security environment.
