- This a Amendment 0003 to N0060405T0377 originally published on 30 March 2005. This provides responses to questions from prospective vendors. 1. Question: Specifications list two 40" monitors in one case, are these monitors back to back or side to side? Response: Monitors are back to back with custom cut foam cushioning between them in the Hardigg case. 2. Question: Specification says "Quadview" with 16 input choices. Does this mean that there should be MAXIMUM of 4 on any screen at any given time? Answer: 16 inputs overall into the matrix, any 4 of which can be applied to the Quadview output for viewing and audio. 3. Question: Monitors are 40" LCDs but asking for 60" interactive whiteboard projection system. Are you meaning the Interactive overlay on the 40" LCD or do you mean that these are separate 60" interactive whiteboards? Answer: Separate 60" interactive whiteboards with INTEGRATED projection unit and audio capability. 4. Question: If these ! are separate units - do you hope that the Matrix switcher (with the 16 inputs) can also output to the Interactive board? And if So, what distance will the Board be from the deployable units. Answer: Matrix outputs must support extension of all inputted Video and Audio sources to all Display's including the whiteboards. Distances are variable (from 5 to 50 feet). 5. Question: Is CAT 5 between Matrix switcher and Plasmas? Answer: Requirement is for all signaling external to the matrix to be conveyed via CAT 5 Skew Free cable. 6. Question: What sources are these 16 sources with Audio - Video? Computer? What format is the source? HD15?, Composite video, DVI? Answer: Multiple input Video and Audio sources (Computers, Composite, S-Video, RGB) 7. Question: Is there a particular MIL-SPEC ruggedization requirement on the 40" LCD panels? Answer: No MILSPEC Std identified. The solicitation due date of 11 April 2005, 1700 Hawaiian Standard Time remains unchanged.
