Description

The work consists of deep-draft pipeline dredging and placement of approximately 471,000 cubic yards of maintenance material, and placement in a Confined Placement Area. No levee work. Bid Opening at Room 185 at 2:30 p.m. The Small Business Size Sta ndard is $17 million. The Galveston District's Subcontracting goals are: Small Business - 40.4%; Small Disadvantaged Business - 16.0%; Woman-Owned Small Business - 5.6%; Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business - 3.0%; Hubzone Small Business - 3.0%. B id Opening will be held in Room 185. The plans and specifications will only be available via this website, on the issue date. It is the contractor's responsibility to register on the website, to download plans and specs, and to check daily for any posted c hanges to this solicitation. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. All contractors are encouraged to visit the Army's Single Face to Industry website at: http//acquisition.army.mil to view other business opportunities.
