Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Radiologic Technologist Services at the Metropolitan Detention Center, Brooklyn, New York, located at 80 29th Street, Brooklyn, New York. The contractor is to provide radiologic technologist services to include: independently perform and develop radiographs; possess the ability to utilize x-ray equipment; perform x-ray processor quality control and monitor other performance indicators; and administer the exchange program of radiologic dosimetry badges. Contractor must be a graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology and hold current state license or registration permitting them to practice their professional specialty in the state of New York. The contract shall consist of a base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities are 1,560 (1) one hour sessions for the base period and each option period excluding Federal Holidays (not to exceed 30 hours per week). The solicitation will be made available on or about May 11, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is June 14, 2005. Anticipated date of award is July 14, 2005. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. See note 1.
