Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitaiton; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Reference number : F2P4MD-5090-A200 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ), utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 621399. This acquisition is unrestricted. Under new FAR Guidance and in order to receive this award you must be registered in the Central Contractor?s Regristration data base at http://www.ccr.gov. The contractor shall provide Healthcare services ? Namely: Pharmacy Technician, required for Government beneficiaries as listed in the Statement of Work. DUE TO THE SIZE OF THIS DOCUMENT A COPY OF THE STATEMENT OF WORK MAY BE OBTAINED BY EMAIL. Please contact Ann Robinson at http://ann.robinson@lakenheath.af.mil The performance period is from 1 May 2005 to 30 September 2005 and is considered a full time position. The US Air Force Hospital, RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk seeks a qualified Pharmacy Technician. Selected applicant will work between the hours of 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday or as designated by the Pharmacy Flight Commander. Prior military experience is desired. The U.S. Government will enter into negotiations with the offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and provides the overall best qualifications. FAR provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this RFQ with the following addenda: paragraphs (h) and (i) of this provision do not apply and change paragraph (c) from 30 calendar days to 60 calendar days. Far provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this RFQ with the following addenda: Paragraph (a) is filled in with (1) Price and (2) Technical Capability of the item to meet the Government needs; paragraph (b) does not apply.
