Description

DESC: 1005-01-225-1156, Part Number 9378233, The item to procure is a Fork Assembly, Tripod (1005-01-225-1156) F/M240/M249 MG, consists of (3) components, Retaining Clip, Pin and Ring Assy, .435 in Diameter X 2.7 Inches Long, both machined from 4140 or 4340 steel. The Tripod-Fork is approximate 2.31 IN X 2.8 IN X 3.02 In and machined from 4130 or 4140 steel or a precision casting. Phosphate coating is required. Solicitation will result in a 3 Year IDIQ Contract. Guaranteed minimum requirements are 4,995 each, with a potential contract maximum quantity of 21,000 each. FOB is Destination. For use on the M122A1 Machine Gun Mount. Estimated issue date is 28 April 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicita tion will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonrespon sive and result in the rejection of same. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY05 requirement. Note Number 26 applies.
