Description

THIS SYNOPSIS IS BEING REISSUED BECAUSE THE SOLICITATION NUMBER WAS INCORRECTLY ENTERED ON THE PREVIOUS SYNOPSIS. THIS SOLICITATION WAS ISSUED ON THE WEB VIA FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES (FEDBIZOPS) ON 29MAR05. NO PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION OR AMENDMENTS WILL BE ISSUED. No public announcement of any amendments will be made. Vendors are advised to periodicall y check the web page for new amendments or other updates. Any changes to the solicitation will be posted only to the website. All q uestions regarding this IFB must be submitted to the Contract Specialist or Contracting Officer prior to the closing date. Estimated date IFB release is on or about 29 Mar 2005 and closing will be approximately 30 days later. IFB will be restricted to Sm all Business Set Aside under NAICS code 332933. Purchase Description: This solicitation is to establish a firm fixed price contract for a base plus three option years for quantity of 16,674 each BLACK BASE/155MM RENO NSN 1320-01-110-5489, P/N 10542904-192 00. There will be three 1-year options that will each be up to 100% of the base year quantity. FOB: Destination, Xu Munitions Storage Point, Blue Grass Army Depot, 2091 Kingston Hwy, Richmond, KY 40475-5000. Contractors are required to be registered i n the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of any resultant contract. The Internet site for registering in the CCR is http://www.ccr.gov/.
