Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research(WRAIR), Division of Biometrics, Bldg. 500, Silver Spring, MD 20910 has a requirement to provide a service plan to service and repair 32 Canon copiers located in buildings 500 and 503 and also perform monthly preventive maintenance and emergency service necessary to keep the equipment in good working order. The contractor shall provide toner, staples, and any replacement parts necessary for the full functional operation of the copiers. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. All potential offerors are invited to contact Mr. Archie B. Cardwell Jr, Grant/Contract Specialist at (301) 619-2630 for a copy of Solicitation W81XWH-05-T-0349 which opens Thursday, 7 April 2005, and closes 21 April 2004 at 3:00 pm. The Government anticipates the award of a multi-year fixed priced contract with renewable option periods.
