Description

The 375th Contracting Squadron, Scott AFB IL, intends to award a Sole Source requirement for the purchase of Zynetix Field Deployable Pico GSM Phone System components: Qty 1 ea -- 1 x T1/E1 PCI Module, Qty 1 ea -- SGSN/GGSN Software license supporting up to 1000 subscribers. Six month warranty included. Qty 1 ea -- GPRS Training - 1 day course - GPRS configuration and installation, includes system setup, software configuration and system commissioning for up to 4 persons. The above product/s are the only known product/s of there kind with the limited capacity that combines SoftMSC, BSC and network management function. The software license includes a single GSM pico-cell that can support up to 7 simultaneous traffic channels. The baseline product incorporates an IP based backhaul that used to provide connectivity to the Zynetix Gateway controller and the PSTN or private voice network. This IP backhaul is a proprietary compressed v110 data encapsulates IP stream that facilitates bandwidth links. Optional T1, FXO and Modem backhaul options are available to provide a standalone GSM network version of the Field Deployable controller where the Gateway controller is not required. This product is the only product of its kind that meets size and weight requirements to be installed on small aircraft.
