The objective is to significantly increase the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) beyond that which current techniques can provide. The purchase order will require investigation of the use of comp osite pulses to improve the SNR. The purchase order will also require support of the NQR research laboratory at the US Army Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD), Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
