Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract modification under Contract N00019-03-C-0353 to ATK Missile Systems, Woodland Hills, CA for the following: (a) two AARGM Engineering Design Models, (b) seven AARGM Production Representative Models, (c) six Radome covers, and (d) AARGM Integration Technical Support for F/A-18 E/F Integration. The delivery of these supplies and services will occur between 30 September 2006 and 30 September 2008. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal nor additional written information is currently available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for information purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). GENERAL INFORMATION: ATK Missile Systems was awarded the AGM-88E AARGM System Design and Demonstration (SD&D) contract in June 2003 and solely possesses the knowledge and expertise required to provide the above supplies and services. In addition, ATK Missile Systems holds exclusive rights to the AARGM data. As such, ATK Missile Systems is the only known source able to satisfy the government's requirement. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the supplies and services anticipated herein is 336414.
