OFFICIAL ADDRESS: Tennessee Valley Authority, Environmental Research Center, Reservation Road, Muscle Shoals, AL 35662 SUBJECT: COMMERCIALIZATION OPPORTUNITY FOR LOW TEMPERATURE POWER CYCLE TECHNOLOGY DESC: The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) intends to license, on an exclusive and/or non-exclusive basis, a technology related to the production of power using a very simple and compact power cycle designed to be cost competitive on low temperature (~200 - 1,000 degrees F) heat sources (patent number 6,751,959 B1). Specifically, a simple, compact, and relatively efficient, supercritical thermodynamic power cycle system and process for extracting heat from a heat source and converting a portion of the heat to mechanical power using working fluids other than water/steam. Potential licensees or buyers should express interest in the technology in writing by mail or fax to TVA no later than May 6, 2005, including a brief statement of your experience and capabilities to commercialize the technology. An information package is available to interested parties. TVA's Research & Technology Applications staff will be available on a fee basis for technology engineering and commercialization support.
