Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Furnish and install premanufactured cabled concrete mats onto contractor-prepared surfaces at government-designated locations on the North End of Cherokee National Forest. Mats are to be installed on shorelines and/or at road/creek crossings. Requirements will be for 384 sq. ft. of Class 30s concrete mat and 2944 sq. ft. of Class 75 concrete mat installed at various locations in Cocke and Greene counties, and 6016 sq. ft. of Class 30s concrete mat and 800 sq. ft. of Class 75 concrete mat installed at various locations in Carter, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi and Washington counties. This will be a requirements-type contract. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. PROJECT LOCATION: Nolichucky/Unaka and Watauga Ranger Districts, Cherokee National Forest, including Cocke, Greene, Carter, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi and Washington counties. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: This solicitation, SAZ RFQ 04-05-16, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request for Quotation and will be available for downloading on or about April 21, 2005 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. All potential contractors and subcontractors should register on the FedBizOpps website as an Interested Vendor. The Interested Vendor?s list will be the only Bidders? List maintained for this procurement. All vendors are required to be registered in CCR (Central Contractor Registration database) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. Vendors must also be registered in ORCA (Online Representations and Certifications) prior to contract award, and may accomplish this on the Internet at http://www.bpn.gov. You must be registered in CCR and have an MPIN number before you can begin ORCA registration.
