Description

The National Ocean Service, Field Operations Division, Chesapeake, Virginia has a requirement for the following equipment: 25 each Aquatrak Model 3000 Transducer with top mounted bulkhead connector, calibrated to 4ft.; 25 each Aquatrak Model 4100 Installation Kit with five centering clips type 316 SS, 6 inch calibration and sounding tubes; 25 each Aquatrak model 4100 controller with multi-function processing and serial; I/O, Version 3.0 software and standard cables. The order will also include an option for the Government to purchase, in any multiple of the required units, not to exceed 25 systems at the originally quoted unit prices for a period of one year from date of purchase order. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation. OFFERS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Quotations should be submitted by April 22, 2005 to the U.S. Dept. Of Commerce/NOAA/Eastern Admin Support Center, Acquisition Management Division, 200 Granby Street, Room 815, Norfolk, VA 23510, ATTN: Linda Jacobs. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulations Re-Write and Federal Acquisition Circular 2. The provision at 52.212 1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial applies to this acquisition; there are no addenda to the provision. Provision 52.212 3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items must be submitted with your offer. Please ensure your compliance with ORCA requirements in Provision 52.212-3. Clause 52.212 4, Contract Terms & Conditions Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
