Description
The DOC, NOAA's, National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Damage Assessment and Restoration Center NW, is requesting sealed bids for construction and restoration of the Duwamish River Turning Basin 3 site, in Tukwila, Washington for the Elliott Bay Natural Resource Damage Assessment and Restoration Trustees. The work will include but not limited to surveying and staking, temporary erosion and sediment controls, removal and disposal of wood footbridge, building demolition, installation of steel pilings, clearing and grubbing, general site preparation, construction of marsh bench and riparian areas, planting/seeding, and installation of erosion protection measure and habitat features including erosion mats, large woody debris, and fish mix. Questions regarding this solicitation should be in writing and addressed to judi.m.jzyk@noaa.gov. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237990 and the small business size standard is $28.5 Million. Estimated cost is between $250,000-$500,000. Please be advised of on-line registration requirement in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database http://www.ccr.gov/ and directed solicitation provisions concerning electronic annual On-line Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at http://orca.b pn.gov. Representations and certifications are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective until one year from date of submission or update to ORCA. An Invitation for Bids solicitation package, including the plans and specifications will be available on or about April 22, 2003, for downloading at the Government?s website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. No paper copies will be issued. Interested parties should use the FedBizOpps [REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION] and [REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR] feature which provides notification when the IFB becomes available for download and all postings associated with the solicitation, thereafter. Each potential bidder is responsible for checking this website to gain all the current information available. Any further announcements regarding this solicitation will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Liquidated damages will apply to the resulting contract.
